When i double click on ie 7 it just makes a short cut.?

I faced this problem when I installed a pack of Internet Explorer 7 on 6 (the onler one).

This happens if you didn't restart your computer after the IE upgrade, and if you did it once, it happens even after restarting the computer.

The solution is that you go to Add or Remove Programs >> Add remove Windows Components, roll back to your previous IE 6, and restart your computer. Then install IE 7, and restart your computer again.

If you are having so much problems with Internet Explorer why don't you try a better browser?
