  1. I am afraid it does, now. Ha ha. I'd leave if I lived there.

  2. in that case my son is racist against the Brits

    he hates fish and chips

  3. This country is getting itself into a right pickle over racism.

  4. Try a slightly less biased view of the report http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7493654.st... or this one http://ukpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5...

Note that the author of the guide, which is on sale and not being handed out in schools, says "The book is about being alert and asking questions. It's about being sensitive and never attacking a child but always trying to think about why a child may have said or done something," she also points out that "Children are like sponges and the early years of their lives are critical for helping them learn to respect the opinions, differences, similarities and needs of others.”

It is also worth noting that "the book is being funded from book sales alone – and not from government funding or from any grants, as has been reported. The sales have been excellent so far which goes to show there is an acknowledged need for books like it." http://www.ncb.org.uk/Page.asp?originx_6...

EDIT - I'm curious as to how the whole of Judge Knacker's family knows what Asif's c@ck (sic) tastes like - now that should be investigated!

  5. Better build more prisons, cause kids can be cruel, and we just cannot let them get away with that-right?

  6. We should get rid of this Gov who set up these quango's

It's jobs for the boys who have nothing else to do but find some reason to justify their jobs!

I would say tell them to stick it up their jacksy!!

  7. Some years ago my 3 year old daughter once spat out a mouthfull of chicken tikka massala saying "this stuff stinks like Asif does"

    Ohh dear...

I remindered her that chicken tikka massala was esssentialy an English dish and that what she said was wrong and we were to love all our fellow men.

About 15 years later she tried Rogan Josh.  She spat it out saying "this tastes like Asifs c@ck."

How we laughed!!  It did taste just like his c@ck.  But see how well integrated we are now.

In reply to Tiny Clanger - I am judge of course i know.

  8. lime pickle and bhang lassie does it for me

  9. lol!!! nope i wouldn't tell my child off at any age if she expressed a dislike for any kind of food..  and i am sure that if i went to someones house and they gave me sheeps eyeballs, monkeys brains.. both of which are considered delicacies.. well to some people!!! ..i too would say yuk... and i am sure i wouldn't 'thank' them either.. bad mannered racist that i am!!! (not!!)

  10. The organisations that come up with these things are a joke. Young children who don't like spicy food aren't exactly unusual. It's nothing to do with racism, it's down to the taste of the food.

  11. I agree with Stormy.

Nothing wrong with teaching your kids respect and good manners.

And as for hating mango chutney, that just means you got no taste.

    :)

    EDIT:

Seriously the rest of the recommendations in that report are good. Children can and do pick up on racism from a very early age. Nothing wrong with working on those attitudes. No child will literally be "labelled " racist and focusing on they "yucky curry" element of the story is just typical of a right wing  owned paper.

  12. Why should it?

I'm Indian... born, brought up & residing in Mumbai city, India, & i don't like rhogan josh. Love mango chutney tho'!

    : )

  13. How unbelievably stupid.  It's not April 1st is it?

  14. in the UK, yes it does,  you should watch what you say, you'll be arrested for racism soon, lol

    that sucks

and i thought America had problems, i love my country, i can say any d**n thing i want, dislike any food i want, i can put up Christmas trees and decorate my house during holidays even if my next door neighbor is Muslim

    America rules

    edit

except on Yahoo Answers, this one will cost me a violation,  yahoo answers must be based in the UK, ROFLMAO

  15. "No racist incident should be ignored. When there is a clear racist incident, it is necessary to be specific in condemning the action."

It is not about saying 'yuk', but if that word is being used with 'a clear racist intent'.

This does not make you a racist, but simply a person who only picks bits from a report they choose and ignores the other bits which contradicts what they already think.

  16. Plans are afoot at this very moment to rewrite the BNP manifesto to include to banning of mango chutney....lol

  17. Mine don't say "yuck" at other people's food.  Its not expecting too much to ask a child to respect food cooked for them and not say "yuck".

Mine recently went to a party for a Muslim girl in their school, at the house.  If I heard they were given food and said "yuck" they would be in big trouble. Respect is the word ~ we might not like something, but it doesn't mean it is abhorrent.
