When i go to start up the internet a warning pops up andsays a unknown source is trying to change my homepage?

my normal default page is google.com and its trying to change to bearshare search. i unistalled bearshare a few days ago. this message pops up like 4 times. what should i do?

for IE and Firefox go to the toolbar in the top in "extra" than options or internetoptions click on it their you can make or repair the instalation for your google homepage again.

Such programs who like to change my instalations i delete and block them.

You must of got some OTHER program installed with BearShare that did not uninstall.  Is there an advertisement program or something that is running?

P2P is BAD business.  You should not do it from a computer that you care about.

Do a virus scan with your security program, then download

Ad-Aware 2007, and scan with that. Delete everything it finds. Then, go to your internet browser, Go to

Tools>Internet Options>General> Clear then Clear EVERYTHING!!!

You probably did not remove bearshare fully. Run lots of anti-malware programs.
