  1. you should post some photos.

  2. that happens everywhere i go): for games

if it helps to be mad or want to show off. just try your hardest and play your best. or if it helps to ignore them. a few days ago we had our whole sophmore football team in the stands...

    feel my pain? haha

  3. Oh boy my forte!

Yeah there are guys at my volleyball games too :P They don't whistle or anything but I can give you advice anyway cuz they distract me o.o

When we have to run during volleyball practice for a loooong period of time and it starts to hurt really badly, I go into this state of mind where I ignore everything but my legs moving back and forth consistently.

I do the same thing during games when I'm getting distracted. I go into that state of mind where nothing else matters except getting that ball over the net. Which means no annoying guys, or loud coaches (I find that that distracts me too lol).

Just you, your team, the net, and the ball.

Hope that doesn't sound to ridiculous. I also hope that helped :]

  4. Make your floor captain talk to the ref. The ref should talk to the administrator of the home school. Then they talk to them... ect

There is a process for dealing with this stuff, but it doesn't stop all of it. Really, you are going to have to learn to block a lot of it out, but know the line for what is going too far.

  5. Tell the coach its distracting and innappropriate and let them handle it

  6. well that happens everywhere. Just dont even ignalige that they are there. They will eventually stop. And if that doesnt work just try your best to ignore them.

  7. Are they showing up at your practices and disrupting you?  I earned a reputation as a real ***** at one high school where I coached the girls' team because I would throw anyone out who was interfering with practice.  Your coach and your school's athletic director ought to be involved in getting them out of your way during practice.

If you're hearing catcalls and such during matches, you'll have to learn to tune that stuff out and focus just on what's happening on the court.  My team was really distracted by a group of unruly guys from our opponent's school one time and lost the first game of a match really badly.  They were upset during the break between games so I told them, "I know a great way to shut them up.  Get out there and kick the other team's collective asses."  We blew them away during the second game and won the match handily.  The group of harassers was very quiet starting around the time we were ahead 6-1.  :-)

One thing I have learned about these jerks who find fun in creating disruptions is that they will only get louder if you notice them and respond to them.  Shut them out and it's like throwing water on a campfire -- you're starving the source of their flame.

Good luck with this.  There are jerks everywhere though, and it's probably time you learned to deal with them or ignore them.

  8. thats going to happen everywhere!  ignore them, focus in on the game, pretend like your team and the other team are the only ones in the gym, no screaming boys!

and if you play club...omg, its awful!!!!!!!!! but i learned to ignore them! and if you concentrate and ignore them you will do terrific!

  9. The same thing kind of happened to me and my team. We played one school, and their score keeper (a guy) was guessing all of our bra sizes. My best friend was our manager and was at the same table, she heard him and told our team. I told our coach who told the principle of the school and the boy was supposedly talked to. But since we didn't play them for the rest of the season, I didn't know if he did it again. I would talk to your coach, and tell him/her about it. Hopefully they will talk to the principle of the home school or the boys themselves. Good luck!

  10. Show em your birdies.

Haha jk. Just take it as a compliment I guess or tell your coach if it gets really annoying.

  11. Really, just ignore them. A lot of girls volleyball teams have many perverted guys attending their games... just shrug it off and you'll become a better and more focused person for it.

    Good luck! Hope this helps.

  12. flip em off

  13. Ignore them... they might never change

  14. They do that to our team too. Just think of it as a compliment and tell your coach to kick them out if they keep it up and it's very distracting. She will understand and most likely tell them to leave, mine does. My coach chucks balls at them until they run away. lol

    Just try to ignore them.

  15. Why dont you jus moon them and call it a day... now were all happy

  16. honey... that's been happening since the beginning of time.

nothing you can do but just concentrate.

    Good Luck!  :)

  17. haha thats awesome that was me

  18. Get ear plugs and like they said on Ice princess. Go in to a bubble. Thats what I do!
