  1. In the US:

Cali - Good surfing up and down the coast and ski resorts like Lake Tahoe and Big Bear Mountain close and Colorado not too far away.

North Carolina - Decent surf in the Outer Banks, Wrightsville, Masonboro, etc.  Ski mountains in the Smokies portion of the Appalachians include Ski Beech, Sugar Mountain, Cataloochee, etc. These areas are not ideal for either surf or snow but provide a solid option if you live in this area (I am in South Carolina personally).  I snowboard up there a few times a year and surf year round in SC mostly but do make trips up to Wrightsville occasionally.

Internationally (speaking on what I've heard and not personal experiences), The following places are known to have world class surf and mountains:

    New Zealand

    Chile

Europe (Good surf in Spain, Portugal, France and great snow in the Alps)

South Africa (not sure how good the skiing is but I have had friends that went there to surf Durban and Jefferys Bay and told me there are ski mountains as well)

    Hope this helps.

btw - I just looked at your profile and see you're in NJ (I actually grew up in Jersey right on the Pennsy border).  There is solid surf down the shore in Manasquan, Sleaside, LBI, AC, and near Cape May/Wildwood.  Then you got some ok snow in Pennsy in the Poconos (Blue Mountain, Camelback, Jack Frost, etc.)  You may not be too far away.

  2. Alaska

  3. Califonia on the coast and the mountains arent that far away.

  4. Taranaki,NewZealand

Theres snow in the mountains every winter, AND if you're a real diehard surfer, you can surf in the winter too....Granted even in the summer you'll still be wearing a wetsuit, but its still surfing!!! I never worry about whether its raining because you're gonna get wet either way!

  7. ok i know this sounds crazy and you allready got some good answers but it you can get this in Hawaii on the island of Oahu the old volcannoes have snow and obviously u got the best waves there at first i didnt believe it but it true
