  1. I would say the architect would be the most difficult thing to establish. The program is like a doctorate program where you have to be supervised by a establish architect. Plus you have to do 5 years of graduate school. So its a lot of money to get started but they make serious money if they can get the work. Civil engineer may be the fast track of work with a bachelor's art degree getting you a decent income. Its a go between between the architect and the builder. You have to be good at math. The future seems more promising for blue color type of jobs. I would go to a technical school and get a certificate in two programs like plumbing and electrical. Get your license in both fields would make you highly valuble and employable since most people only know one field. But having two or more would make you a prime canidate for a construction company supervisor and foreman. You would save a lot of money on school going for two associates degrees and you could get more working experience than say a civil engineer. You eventually would make more money than a civil engineer if you protect your reputation and show a great desire to learn more each week.
