When i lower the volume of my car audio on my rockford 08 lancer i could hear a rattle in my sub woofe?

i could hear a rattle in my subwoofer when i lower my volume in the car is this normal? i know the rattle not coming from the holder its in or anything else, but its coming straight out of the woofer it self is this normal or is something wrong?

sounds like a blown sub, push on the middle of the sub and listen/feel for scraping- if its not smooth then the subs on the verge of being blown

if its a DVC sub then one of your voice coils is blown (melted) that would still let the sub play using just the remaining voice coil

There is some loose contact in car wiring. Get it checked from auto electric machenic, you can check fuse contacts first. Audio system is OK.
