  1. becuse i is just your bones my brothers mouth does that

  2. tmj..look it up..Tempromandipular Joint disease

  3. Could be TMJ(tempo mandibular joint) issues.

Discuss with your orthodontist.  There is no "fix", but there are behaviors/habits you may have that could contribute and if reduced, reduce the effects of the TMJ.

  4. I know this is long, but hear me out. I promise I did not copy and paste this stuff. I speak from experience!

Some already suggested it, but you could have TMJ (temporomandibular joint[your jaw joint]) disorder. That's what I have. I've had it for about five years now. It started with just a few pops of my jaw here or there when opening wide, but after awhile it began to pop more often. Then eventually it became really bothersome. I couldn't chew gum or eat certain foods, like pizza or steak, without it popping constantly. I wasn't aware that I had a condition that should have been checked out by a doctor. And one day, without my consent, my jaw locked up, and I couldn't eat hardly anything. I did what your not supposed to and tried to open it. One side of my jaw popped out of place! There is little you can do to fix that. But that other person was wrong when she said there's nothing you can do to help your jaw. There is! The doctor you might need to see is an orthodontist or a maxillofacial doctor(who i saw.) They'll have plans you can go on to treat tmj. I would have been a lot better off if i saw someone earlier. Even after my jaw was misplaced, I still felt a lot of discomfort in the joint, and it still popped on the other side of my jaw. My doctor put me on some medications(a combination of muscle relaxers and pain relievers, which helped a lot and even made the popping eventually stop along with a soft food diet. Eating softer foods doesn't put so much strain on the joint and helps it to heal. TMJ disorder usually develops when you clench your jaw A lot. I developed it from playing the saxaphone(a whole lot of hard biting down.) You can get it by gritting your teeth from being scared(kinda like your roller coaster ride), and sometimes people do it in there sleep without even knowing it. I also have a family history of arthritis, so I was pretty much screwed. Should have gone with the flute, haha. And there are also surgeries that can be performed. A lot of them come out successfully, but the possible malfunctions during the process freaked me out, so I decided not to go that route. But the other things really helped me. I barely ever get bothered by it. No more pain. :)  I can chew gum now and even eat pizza or steak. I just got finished eating some deelish digiorno a few minutes ago. Yummm!

I know this was really long, but I hope it helped. Perhaps you could have figured out if you had some of the same similarities to my problem. But either way, you should definitely ask your doctor about it. He will be more helpful and be able to tell you what's going on or point you to a doctor that knows.

    Good Luck!

  5. It sounds like TMJ. Ask your dentist about it the next time.

It is a misalignment of the jaw and can be caused by any number of things.

  6. okay i bands too! it happens to me also! i think what it is, is that your jaw is actually moving to forming to a new spot that adapts to the rubber bands. when you open your mouth, it goes to the old spot it was in and when you close it it goes to the new place. dont even worry about it! so much stuff is going on in your mouth right now that it is perfectly natural! smile!
