When i open orkut..the browser automatically switches to some other site..inspite of typing orkut's address?

There must be a problem in your browser. you can set some sites to be restricted to display. go to internet options, Select security tab, select restricted sites and check if the address of orkut is there or not

Sometimes it happens with me. i try to get to a site, another site comes. I do nothing but go back.

if both of these don't work repair your web browser.

P.S. I don't prefer to go to Orkut. Its the worst site i've ever heard of.
