When i play my playstation 2 it turns on then turns off and starts blinking

Is everything plugged in good? Check those plugs in the back. Sometimes they come loose.

If that doesn't work it may be broken or something...

is it the big, old version? because if it is, its probably overheating or something and might be broken beyond repair. i would suggest buying the newer, slimmer version.
