When i plug a new

Question

when i plug a new wireless optical mouse into a usb port i get a blue screen says incompatible mass storeage device. The mouse works on 2 other computers. I changed my mouse to one with a cord .... same freeze up.. i have talked to the mouse manufactuers.... and to micosoft...who offered no help and sent me to dell who i purchased the laptop from..they could not find a problem and sent me back to the manufactuer...my system is Windows XP 2002 service pack 3 home edition..I have reinstalled my mouse drivers....no help still crashes....
