Question:

When i put a CD in my CD drive....it doesn't play it?

  1. You might not have autoplay enabled. Check your computer to see if the drive is empty.


  2. Your CD is probably upside down.  

  3. try the cd/dvd in some other drive

  4. This answer is assuming you have a Windows Operating System. To make sure the computer is recognizing the CD, go to My Computer and see if it appears where the CD icon is located. If it appears then click on it to open it then browse through the songs. If it does not appear try another CD and if this does not appear then go to Control Panel and click on System icon.Then look something for Hardware, after this look for Device Manager. If a yellow icon appears next to DVD/CDROM then this means the driver is missing. If this happens go to Windows Update and usually you can get it here by doing an update. Also if you have a CD cleaner, try running it and see if this helps.
