When i put my PC on hibernate or standby mode it says preparing to hibernate/standby and hangs there on.?

  2. yes I had that problem with an old pc never fixed it just got wiped an reinstalled windows .

  3. Do not use hibernate, switch it of in your settings. After this stand-by will work fine! In control panel /power options make sure you select stand-by and not hibernate for the various options!

  4. DONT. JUST HIT THE POWER BUTTON.  if that still reacts the same, you have a virus

  5. mine does the same thing... I just don't let it do it anymore.  just shut it off.

  6. always shut off ur pc if you leave it on all ur doing is putting stress on ur components mainly the psu and RAM
