It starts to bother me after about 4 or 5 hours of wear, and it feels like an eyelash is in my eye, but there isn't. sometimes i see a whitish residue in my eye, which i believe is protein. i have tried new contacts and it only happens with my right eye.

  1. i have the same problem!  except my left i is the bother.  i don't know what to do...i still deal w/ that. just wash your hands super good and clean the contact with the solution every chance.

  2. get glasses

  3. Is it possible the contacts aren't being fitted properly in your right eye? If you have astigmatism, the fit is really important. The wrong fit could cause the contact to float around on your eye, and the irritation could be causing your eye to produce the white stuff in an effort to flush out what it thinks is a foreign body in there!

When you re-order next time, talk to your eye care professional about the repeated irritation with your right eye. It's possible they can get you a better fitting contact.

  4. that used to happen me and i asked my optician .... he said its dust and stuff entering the eye and reacting with the contact ,,,,, if it happens dab a bit ofd solution on your finger and move the contact slightly around your eye

it really works too i have a really small bottle of solution with me nearly everywhere i go :D

  5. maybe your eye is infected talk to your eye doc.
