  1. on my computer i go to Tools>Delete Browsing History>Delete Cookies. That should do it. It always works for me!

  2. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  3. go to control panel and then to task bar and start menu then start menu then customize and then clear list if u did nt get it mail me

  4. YOU HAVE TO CLEAR YOUR BROWSER

Go To your browser Internet explorer/mozilla fire fox ect... and then click tool then click internet options Ihen just delete what you want from there id not delete saved passwords unloess you want them gone

  5. Open inet options in the control panel and hit the clear history tab. You can set the days to save history to zero to stop saving it. Or, in content enter auto complete and disable web addresses to stop that.

  6. Go to Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Internet Connection >> Internet Option >> Delete browsing history.

    Hope that help you.

  7. If you are searching using the search facility on the yahoo website, it is very difficult to remove, as it is stored on the website, not on your computer. deleting things on your computer does not affect it.

I put knickers in that search bar, clicked on it as if searching, then tried to get rid of it. I managed to get rid of it, but cannot get rid of two other searches I have done on it.

If you have the Yahoo task bar, use the search on that, as it has the option to clear history via the down arrow. I will return if I find a way, but it, like the questions and answers are on the website, not on your computer.

  8. At the top of your web browser go to Tools>Internet Options>Content>Autocomplete>Clear Forms

And if you want to altogether prevent what you typed to show up again, uncheck the "Forms" option in the Autocomplete options.

  9. There are two ways to do it.

    1) If you have your browser open, on your menu bar click Tools, then choose Internet Options.

    2) Go to the Content tab, look for AutoComplete, and click on Settings.

    3) Uncheck the Forms box.

The other way is like this:

    1) Click Start and then Control Panel.

    2) Click on Internet Options.

    3) Go to the Content tab, look for AutoComplete, and click on Settings.

    4) Uncheck the Forms box.
