When i shot my air gun, it exploded to pieces. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. WHAT WAS THE CAUSE OF THIS?

  1. Unless we know what type and brand it is, it will be difficult to nail down a reason.

    Is it a "pump" air rifle? Did you "over pump" it trying to get more power?

    Was the barrel obstructed?

    Were you trying to use .22 pellets in a .177 gun?

    Had you previously taken it apart and put back together?

    There are many possible reasons.

A very likely cause was dieseling in the barrel.  If you used regular machine oil such as 3 in 1, it can cause dieseling.  Dieseling occurs when the hot compressed air ignites a flammable oil or cleaner in the bore.  This can cause a very high pressure which will rupture the barrel.  Your owner's manual tells you not to use anything but an oil that is specified as an airgun oil.  The difference between an airgun oil and regular machine oil is the machine oil has a much lower ignition temperature than the airgun oil and that makes it more easily ignited by the hot compressed gasses of the air rifle.

  3. Maybe it was plugged.
