When i swim for about a hour or more it hurts to take a deep breath

anytime i swim anywhere (lake or pool) for a hour or more i get weird pains in my lungs when i take a deep breath, could it be my athsma? im only 13

I think its because the water is cold, so your lungs kind of shrink up a little so you cant take a deep breath... (it happens to me too)

If regularly swim and happened probably you need to get advice from a doctor but, if it happen once a while because you not frequantly swiming it fine and do more.
