When i switch on my sky tv, it says no signal being received and when i go into services, system is not locked

no signal bars and no quality bars,and stream is 0000.Then if i unplug receiver for a few minutes and plug it in again, i have a signal of about 90%, quality of about 50% and stream is 07d4 and id is 0002.Does mean my receiver is the problem

this happened to me once they took me through a series of button pushes on the remote it freed up the box and has not failed since

Mine does this sometimes. What I do is remove the card, wipe it both sides with a dry cloth and replace it back. Should be ok then

try moving ur dish a bit, or ring them and explain ur prob

while you have the box unplugged check the connection where the cable from the dish enters the box, this often works loose and just needs tightening up again, worth a try anyway, hope it works.

What is the weather like where you are?

If it's raining heavy with strong winds this can affect your signal..

should improve with the weather conditions.

Try removing the sky card for 2 mins or so and then replace it
