When i take out my car stereo, do i take the metal case around it out as well?

The only way it seems possible to take my stereo out is to take the metal case/sleeve around it out as well. Am i supposed to take this out too? Can it be easily put back in as im only trying to install an amp?

you should have the keys to remove your stereo every car stereo with detechable face have they own keys to remove the stereo without to take out all the sleeve or the part of the dash use your comun sence to do it ok
