When i try and play chess with a friend in yahoo messenger instead of a chess board all i get is a white scree

the white screen instead of chess board has a little red x in the top left hand corner??

please someone help??

Make sure that java is loaded and that popups are not blocked.  I think popups might be blocked on your computer and your have to allow popups to play.
