When i try to join groups......?

nothing happens..I cant find the "join group" link so i cant join the group. besides being stupid. am i just dumb too?

the join tab is blue, and on the top right corner of a group when found in the directory. when you click that, it takes you to another page where you choose mail prefs and so on, and at the bottom is the letter code box that you must complete- when done you click the tab Join.
