When i try to watch the news on my tv, i get the audio for the weather channel. Can anyone help?

the problem exists with the vcr. I programmed the channels to come through the vcr. what do i press on my vcr to fix it? I have another tv and the audio is perfect on it.

Make sure all the connectors, splitters, and insulation on the cables are all in good order. It seems like the cable isn't getting the ground from the metallic shield, which could be a loose cable, bad splitter, bad crimp job, or a wear and tear right into the cable.

The VCR or the TV is set to SAP mode. (Second audio programming). Best case here is to get out the manual as there are many ways to turn this on and off. Some have a button on the remote others have to be switched in the menu. Try looking around the sound settings usually around the Stereo, mono area.
