When i turn my computer on nothing comes up?

Question

When i turn on my pc, only my desktop display comes up, no icons or my start button, can anyone help me please its drivin me crazy lol :P

Do what anonymous said and also try this:

Right-Click on your desktop hover over "View" then make sure that "Show Desktop Icons" is ticked/checked. This is a well-known prank that is pulled to make people stressed at work and stuff.

you probably have windows xp. this is a very common bug, just do this to fix it

control, alt, delete

open task manager

click file

click new tasks (run)

type "explorer.exe" (no quotations)

then restart your computer and see if that starts it up
