When i turn off my truck my after market stereo doesnt turn off by itself?

when i turn off my truck the stereo doesnt turn off by itself i have to turn it off manually...i think i have it wired wrong but not sure???

how could U go wrong/w the wiring harness its color to color,,,dont tell me you cut the factory harness and did it the bootleg way ,,dude its 08 we dont do that nooomore and not w/out a test-lite,,,take it apart go to jnkyrd and get another harness re-connect and get the wire harness(or get a smart cable from curcuit city) lets go do it right or dont do it at all  aka go hard or go home,,,

man you have a constant hot hooked up somewhere!! check your wiring and make sure your power isn't hooked up to your remote wire cause it should cut off once the ignition is cut off!! good luck!

You have it wired into a wire that's hot all the time.Wire it into the wire that the original radio hooked into.

you need to hook up the back up battery should be yellow hook it up into the power wire and that should work

Yes you do you have it wired to a power lead that is not a key on power lead you have disconnect it and find the key on lead and connect it to that and then youll be fine, Good Luck!!

You need to have the Yellow wire of the stereo connected to a constant power source, and the Red wire connected to a switched ignition source.
