When i use my mobile phone as a mp3 player or a radio wil i be exposed to radiation from the phone?

Ive just bought a new mobile phone to use as a mp3 player /radio however im now a bit concerned using it !

Im wondering if i will still be exposed to the radiation from the phone when i use it as a mp3 player/radio? would it be better to put it in flight mode? from what i understand they both transmit and recieve so must be always on to transmit and recieve new signals? obviously i dont want to use it, if it is !hope you somebody could tell me? might be worth everyone knowing

Mobile phone have a SAR rating which indicates how much signal is being produced.

Radiation is a word which is used a lot by the press but radiation is only causes by radioactive materials. They are not found in mobile phones.

So far studies have found that mobiles have no dangers. However if you feel parniod check the SAR rating with other phones and limit your usage.
