Question:

When i was 12 (now 13) i took the ACT and got a 17. is that good for my age?

the highest score i had was in math, i had a 24. ela and social studies i had like a 20 or something close to that. but when the science part came, i was really bored so i just randomly filled in bubbles and got a 4.

  1. You took the ACT when you were 12?! What is the point of that? Are you just too rich and too bored to do that? Also, getting a score at that age means nothing. In fact, it might even damage your self-esteem. Because now you can see how you compare with other people. 21 is the average, and you are quite a distance away from it. Take my advice: save the money, study hard, and then take the test in high school.


  2. If your composite score was 17, then that's kind of average. If you actually tried, I think you could have gotten higher. I took the freshmen ACT, I forget the name, and I got a 20/25. Freshmen and eighth grade are basically the same.
