pain in the left side of my waist around my pelvis.. so i stopped.around every 5 minutes a feel a tiny shock of pain on the left side and it follows by gas. i just want ur opinion on what u think it might be

if your hernia was reemerging you would likely feel a lump. I have felt pain in my abdomen like what you are describing, I think your dad is right.
