When i was viewing the TV suddenly i saw grey strips and video is gone, i am not getting any video now.?

Mine is a Samsung CRT 29 inches.. I did not have any problem till this thing happened. now totally no video, the tv is like no power, but i have the audio, if i change channels, the audio follows, i have tried to play dvd, it also have no video signal. is the picture tube gone ?

OK, need to know what type of tv you have. Do you still have audio? It may be the video card if lcd tv or picture tube if CRT TV.

No it's not gone...you lost your MAIN BOARD...it's the video processing board.

You need to contact a Samsung authorized servicer, and take the TV set <<CAREFULLY>> blanketed to him or pay the man to get it to his shop.....

And prepare for a $500 repair job....it could be up to $800.

And do not scrape off the VERSION number on the side...no version number and then you have 7 or 8 main boards to deal with instead of ONE.....

They like to Modify a lot at Samsung......
