hey, when i was wakeboarding the other day, i tried jumping. when i got in the air, my front tilted down and i got a concussion. how the c**p do people get like ten feet of air. if you dont beleve me go look on youtube. and how do i keep my nose from going down.

  1. i don't ride 60% back and i get big air and i don't face plant. if you are too front weighted going off the wake you will land too front weighted. if you leave the wake too rear weighted you will land too rear weighted. the key is to get your progressive edge keeping line tension without shifting one way or the other (front or back).


  2. you have to keep 60% of your weight on your back foot.  This will keep your nose up slightly.  The issue it sounds like you are having is that your front edge is catching when you land.  This is caused by you leaning forward when you land your jump.  You want to continue edging away when you land your jump.  You need to think progressive edge into the wake and edge away when you land.  By focusing on this you will keep your front up.  I have been there with the concussion thing.  I even got a bloody nose because i face planted so hard!

  3. hey im sorry about the concussion i got one earlier in the year.. but when you come off of the wake you need to look up the lake into the air and not the water and you wont fall it works also keep the rope in close to you body and very low
