When i went outside yesterday i sat down on a lawn chair and there were lots of butterflies and land on me.

what do you think it means.when i went outside yesterday i sat down on a lawn chair lots of butterflies were flying around me. some of them would land on me and just stay there.is their any meaning to that

salty sweat on our skin is a great thing to them, too... besides the 'you smell good' idea..... I've had them ride across a small lake on my leg  while I paddled across, and I smelled like FISH!~!.... *smile*....they need the salt and trace minerals that they can find in our sweat or in those sandy mud puddles on the ground that they like so much....

I looked at your question because my friend had this same thing happen last summer.

I wonder with all the pretty body washes, lotions, and perfumes.. we must smell good to some insects.    :-)

your lucky.  you must have good Karma, or smell very sweet like nectar.  Butterflies are attracted to nectar.

no meaning at all, perhaps the butterflies were a wee bit tired or hot for that manner and just needed a breather for a moment.

It could have been the color of your clothes, human hormoans, perfume etc.
