Question:

When i wheelie my bike, i cant keep my balance side to side, i need help?

i can hit the perfect balance point front to back, but i always tip to one side, trashing my wheelie. I am going pretty slow, should i turn in the wheelie to keep my balance and how?

  1. Going slower makes balance more critical and you have to use more of your muscles to make it happen.  Make sure that you're not pulling harder on one side of the handlebar than the other, even if the wheel is straight.....most people do that.  Also, try to pedal softly and put even pressure on both pedals.   And be sure not to have your upper body torqued to one side.   You can correct your balance by small hip-shifts easily....turning the bars doesn't help as much unless your upper body is following the motion, but give it a try and see if it helps you when you need it.   I've seen some guys that wiggle side to side the whole time, practically doing x-ups.   lol    :o)
