  1. Legally, at 16 you can only ride a 50cc restricted to 31mph. Most 50cc bikes come already restricted but be careful if you ride one which isn't restricted as the police are pulling 16 year olds over to check if their bike is restricted or not.

    You can't ride a 125cc until you are 17.

You also need to complete a CBT first before you can legally ride on the road.

  2. As everybody else has said, you cannot (legally) ride a 125cc until you are 17. In addition, your 50cc must be restricted to 50kph / 32mph or it is also illegal. Remember, if you de-restrict, and get caught, not only will you risk getting points on your shiny new licence, but your insurance will be invalid. This means if some t**t knocks you off, you'll be left with no bike and no insurance money.

  3. Yes, at 16 you can only ride a 50 - the RS will be restricted anyway, it'll do about 40 - 45mph flat out.

  4. Well..Everyone Has Told You That You Can Only Ride A 50cc At 16..I'm In The Same Position.

On The Other Hand, Unrestricted, The RS50 Can Get To Well Over 50mph, Near To 60, Maybe A Bit Over If You Take Into Consideration Your Weight. When It's Restricted, You Have To Have A Top Speed Of 30mph.

  5. At 16 you are restricted to a 50cc motorcycle, that is not to exceed a certain horsepower or speed,

  6. when 16 all you can have is a 50cc not a 125,

    125 at 17years old
