  1. pull up from your lower back and tummy :]

  2. Try to keep your upper body straight. Breathe deeply while dancing. It'll make your stomach suck in.

  3. Try doing crunches they will make your stomach stronger.

  4. Wear a sports bra

  5. I'm sure this sounds silly reading it but my teacher taught me Irish Dancing and she said the key to the movement being all below your waist was to make sure you work on gaining a strong back muscle...by allowing yourself to tense this up it should help you keep straight and ultimately help your problem...if not...feel free to blame my old teacher ;-)

  6. well I'm not sure about Irish dancing....but in Latin you bend and move your hips and knees to kind of absorb the movement so your not bouncing all over the place but your movements still look as big

    hope that helps!

  7. work on tightening your stomach and back muscles. these are not only what allow dancers to not wobble, but also to correctly and successfully do pirouettes and fouettes and such.

-you can work your abs by doing crunches everyday before you dance

  8. try to gain more of a center...hard core...thats just what all of my dance teachers say...do this by working on your abs : )
