  1. You only have to introduce one thing at a time when it is something new. Stage 2 bananas or sweet potatoes is just a bigger container. Stage 2 mango pudding IS new stuff, so that would need to be introduced alone if you are worried about allergies. Meat is fine. Meat in baby food jars is cat food though, most babies won't eat it. Eww.

  2. I started giving my daughter stage 2 baby food around 5 1/2 months. The doctor tole me I could start her on baby food at 5 months and I did but then I noticed that the stage 2 was just the same consistancy as the stage 1 and it was double the portion for the same price. I think the only difference between the 2 stages is more food. So I started buying the stage 2 and giving her half a jar at a time and I saved money. She did fine with them. As far as the meat I never heard about not giving it to them. They have apples and chicken mixed and veggies and meat and the chicken ones in the stage 2 and she did fine with them. I only did the alergy thing until she tried the new veggies really and then I stopped that.
