    Let's turn off all the lights when not needed. ever flown into London at night.....or any other city - Do we really need all those lights.

    That money could be used for medical purposes - to reduce taxes etc etc.  We do not need an Earth Hour....we need it continuously. So the Opera House etc does not get lit up...So what - visit it by day...


  2. An hour when we all try and save energy to help with the global warming problem.  Each country can do it's part by cutting back.

  4. It's over. It was 8pm for everyones local time all over the world, whenever their 8pm was.

    But you can still turn your power off anytime you want, of course. If you feel bad for missing it, just have your Earth Hour tomorrow or something. Or better yet, have an Earth Hour everyday.
