Every time I have seen a member of Congress talking about the energy crisis they say it takes time to develop alternatives but Congress has been working on this since 1973...........

How long are we going to buy into excuses while they finger point , scream from soapboxes and just keep stinging us along ?

  1. Nobody is stopping you from going Solar on your own.

  2. Energy crisis is mainly due to booming population. There aren't enough resources (or need)  to provide for everyone. So wait for McCain to become a president, he'll start a massive war, cause major socio-economic catastrophes around the world, thus decreasing the population and making the left over energy surplus... JK, don't think it will ever get fixed though.

  3. Joe Biden took his Senate seat in that year. Maybe as VP he would finally do something for the country. But I doubt it. This is the change and hope we can look forward to? Like Bill Clinton said: "Give me a break."

  4. They will act when a pig lands in front of you, places you and your luggage on it's back, and flies you anywhere you desire for free.

  5. I liked T. Boone Pickens position. But here's how wacked out our environmentalists groups are. Now they are saying we can't do wind farms because there is a certain kind of bat that is affected. Apparenytly the turbines create a air turbulence that may collapse the bat's lungs. The same wack jobs who when they show that AMWAR [sp?] in Alaska, they show photos of unspolied wild Alaska. ANWAR is a flat swamp land.

I am hoping the McCain/Palin get elected. McCain wants to push for more and Palin is the Gov. of Alaska who understands all the issues intimately.  Otherwise, we are all just plain screwed. But maybe Al Gore will ride in on his jet fuel gobbling jumbo jet and save us all from ourselves. As long as the private sector investments are in his companies.

  6. once all the proper palms are greased, things will start to change. of course we all know will the grease will come from........think your back pocket.

  7. Maybe they just don't have the energy, heh heh.

Thanks, I'll be here all week.
