When are they going to let Blacky out of prison......does anyone remember Blacky (played by John Stamos probably sometime in the 80's)?? They always leave characters hanging like that!

I have no clue, but they said he is going to be significantly older!!! So, probably a couple years or so.

They don't seem to be in a big hurry to bring him back just yet.  I haven't heard anything about any casting calls going out for a new Michael.  Plus, there are storylines still playing out, dealing w/the aftermath of Michael's shooting (Sonny giving up custody of the boys, Sonny and Jason becoming estranged, Jason taking over the mob, and the truth coming out that Claudia was behind the shooting).  Until those storylines reach some kind of conclusion, Michael will probably stay in his coma.  I'd say, about a year or so, before we see Michael again.

I haven't heard anything... I kinda hope they keep him gone for a while so it won't be so weird seeing him played by another actor as an older version of him.

hopefully its going to be a while because they are bringing him back with a new actor and that will be weird if it happens soon and he is suddenly all grown up

They fired the actor that has always been Michael.  I think they will wait until they can reasonably age his character and then bring in another actor to be Michael but they will have to age Morgan too as they would logically age at the same rate.

it doesn't seem to be happening any time soon.  Maybe he'll wake in just time to cause Sonny & Kate's wedding not to happen

That is anyones guess at the moment. It could possibly be years, they arent really in a hurry to bring him back.
