  1. I don't know where he's been.  I used to work with him at a Radio One station.  He was really popular back in the 80's in Detroit.  The only station that I can see him being on now in Detroit would be mix 92.3, Kiss 105.9 or WGPR 107.5.  Mo-Jo's format is no longer in existance.  He played everything from Prince to Hall & Oats.

  2. Check out 105.9 Kiss FM  Especially Saturdays 7pm -12 Midnight.

Lately, they've been doing some very Mojo-esque things.  I think he's down there and he's helped them change the stations format. Especially, Labor Day weekend, when they had that funk fest complete with guest DJ's.  I heard songs like Mesopotamia by The B52's and Flame Thrower by the J Geils Band.  Mojo staples that wouldn't get lost up in 105.9 on a dare.  I've called the station and asked if Mojo is down there.  Lady BG hung up on me and Tune Up Man aired my comments about the station throwing down lately but edited out my question about Mojo.  I know he's a Program Director and 105.9 was my first guess when I heard about that.

Call the station! Hopefully, if enough people start asking for Mojo, they'll have no choice but to give us back our Mojo!

  3. Most recently, Mojo is serving as Program Director for a handful of Detroit radio stations - he does not publicize which ones - and he is in negotiations to bring his show to XM satellite radio in 2006, where he will not only begin a new show, but also air shows from his archive dating back to 1977.

He is on a variety of stations, and if you want to know more, check if he has a myspace profile too. alot of djs, radio jocks, and music artists have their own page. Alot of these pages have release daates as well. you might not be hearing him because he might be on certain times of the day, or he is on other stations. there is no specific date hes coming back though.
