  1. Hey,

    September..>NEXT MONTH!!!

  2. you can't ask when will december start can you(cuz its obvious december starts on the 1st of dec rite?) similarly ramadan itself is a month and it'll start on the 1st of ramadan. acc. to the gorg. calendar inshallah by sept.

it's different for different countries ciz it's lunar cal. depends upon the moon.

does it improve health? yes it does to many and does'nt for many. but as the mohammad you said the patients in the hosp really decrease.

how is it different. i remember my fasts as a christian, it was all mother forced and did not benefit  at all. i drank water all the time so it really was not like fasting.

besides fasting in Ramadan does nnot only keep the person away from food but also evil deeds.

as Muhammad(peace be upon him) said that if a person does not stop his evil deeds ( such as lying, backbiting, causing harm to others etc) Ahis thirst and hunger does not count!

so if a person really fasts, keeps himself away from the sins for a month then it's natural for him to have a better conduct after the month

but there's nothing like this in christianity.

and how it's different from the fasts of judism i don't know

  3. somewhere in september i guess. And yes to your first question. And fasting is prescribed by Allah in the Qur'an, and whatever is prescribed by Allah has to be the BEST and BENEFICIARY!

  8. inshallah i think either going to start anyday from 1st or 2nd,or 3rd,yep Fasting has alot of benefits it completely detoxes the body considering all the junk we eat 11months of year, also makes you mentally stronger going without food during the whole day..also you save money considering amount we spend on food..there are soo many benefits, physically, aswell mentally..

anyone who is healthy, mature age (puberty age)can fast,it is not difficult, all about sacrifice..people who aint muslim but in healthy, fit state should try it even for 1 day during ramadan see how they feel...

Fasting does improve health. This is a good article on just that. http://worldofmuslim.blogspot.com/2007/1...

It cleans the digestive tract and purifies the body. (I mean not just spiritually)

In Islam, obligatoryfasts are obviously in the month of Ramadan. n abstinence of food, drink, and s*x form dawn to dusk. The purpose of it is the same as the other two religions: practicing self-control
