  1. i haven't seen winky for a long time, so is hard to tell what kind of shape he is in, if any...so right now i don't think he can step in the ring with any of these guys....

  2. 1)  There has been no news of when his next fight will be.  He was rumored to have a fight with Felix Sturm, but that won't happen now.  His problem is that he prices himself out of fights, and no one wants to fight him because he is a very good defensive southpaw- in other words, he is guaranteed to make you look bad even if you win.  Plus, he is not that much of an exciting fighter, and his inactivity is only going to hurt him with his increasing age- he is not getting any younger or any better.  I hope he can land a meaningful fight soon because he is still a good fighter that deserves another crack at the best.

    2) Vs. Kelly Pavlik- I really can't see anyone beating Pavlik right now at 160 pounds.  As much as I hate to say it, I think that Wright has begun to slip a bit because of his age as well as his inactivity.  He would still give Pavlik problems and would most likely go the distance with him because he is still very good defensively, but I think in the end, he would get outworked, and he would wind up losing a fairly competitive decision.

Vs. Oscar De La Hoya- I got Wright easily on this one.  Oscar has only fought twice in the past year, and Wright has only fought once in the past year, but I think that Wright is simply too big for Oscar and I think that he would win a decision.

Vs. Floyd Mayweather, Jr.- I might favor Wright, but only by a little bit.  This matchup was actually rumored to happen a few years ago, but it never materialized.  If it had happened back then, I would pick Wright with no hesitation, but now that he's been very inactive and is older, its harder for me to pick him as decisively as back then.  They are both great defensively, but I think that Wright would wind up beating him for the same reason why he would beat De La Hoya- he is just too big for Floyd and I think that he'd win a decision.

  3. 1)No news lately.

    2) He KILLS DeLa Hoya... Pavlik he beats by decision... But him and mayweather should go at it at a catch weight of 150. 154 is too much for floyd
