I have a few books from the 30s-40s.

I just want to know if they would be considered "antiques". They aren't worth anything, but they're rare.

  1. I would say about a 100 years.

  2. your teenage daughter/son hasn't heard of the author!!! ;)

  3. Standard customs practices outline as 25 years is vintage (classic in automobiles) and 100 years is antique. Many Americans consider 50 years an antique. If you've ever tried to bring anything old into the U.S., you know how nice the 100 year standard is as the customs fees for antiques are so high!

  4. antique refers to something old. But how old. Usually for a book it would take you centuries before you could say it as an antique. Most of us get mis leaded every time we try to sold our book for a penny.

to get the exact cost of a book refer yourself to a book expert. And who are they? They are the Book addicts themselves.
