When is a book considered to be an antique? 50 years?

I have a few books from the 30s-40s.

I just want to know if they would be considered "antiques". They aren't worth anything, but they're rare.

antique refers to something old. But how old. Usually for a book it would take you centuries before you could say it as an antique. Most of us get mis leaded every time we try to sold our book for a penny.
