When is a good age to lose your virginity?

I am almost 16 and I reckon my friends will start having s*x in the next 2 years or so. I am just curious when a decent age is. I am guessing before 18. PLease don't answer 'when the time is right' because I know it should be with someone I love and care for.

SOrry to tell you, but when the time is right...you are not going to wake up one day and say.."Oh, I'm 17 today I think I'll lose my virginity"...

Here is a list of "when the time is right-ness":

1-You feel ready emotionally.

2-you are in a monogamous relationship...if you are that kind of person, which is great.

3-You dont mind taking the risk of pregnancy with this person.

4-You have effective birth control..

5-You feel like you will not regret losing your virginity to that person.

6-You are not drunk!

It's different for everyone, but I believe there's a solid reason it's only legal from when you're 16, so the answer you're looking for is 16 and above. :)

Not that when you're 16 you SHOULD be. I'd still recommend waiting. Boys your age are so clumsy. And so are the girls, actually. My point being, it's not the most important thing in the world- and totally worth waiting for. :)
