If you start to think about maybe having s*x or if you have a medical reason for it (my friend got it at 16 because of a cysts that had grown large and the BC helped it to shrink).

if its for s*x. age should be considers but the reasons why.

I'm 18 a virgin and god d**n proud of it. i have a bf of 7 months and still not ready to have s*x with him. I'm emotionally not ready

Not until you're old enough to be married or seriously dating (which means 20 plus) and just aren't ready for a child yet.

It shouldn't be used so adolescents can enjoy a guilt and risk free s*x life.

Well I might have to start taking it soon due to medical reasons. I'm a small person and my period is very long and heavy. I feel dizzy every month for a week. My mom thinks it's because a loss of blood.

So basically, whenever you feel the need to start having s*x OR for a medical reason.

well, any age. as long as you ahve had your period. and you are sexually active.

you should get it right away when you know that you are going to be sexually active.

it's a big releif knowing that you're having DOUBLE protection, with a condom AND birth control.
