When is a good time of year to visit Ireland?

Thinking about going to Ireland for a two week trip... west coast probably.

Right now is perfect. Ireland is beautiful year round but late spring and summer are fantastic.

thats the thing about ireland, your bound to get one day of sun and one day of rain whenever you go, it really doesnt make a difference! although thers a lot going on in the summer natuarally, arts festivals and stuff, i myself would recomend the time around patricks day, theres about a 1 week festival around the country, and lots to do otherwise" but wherever you go youll find ceol agas craic! (music and fun!)  check you www.discoverireland.ie it tells you whats going on around the country!

I come from Killarney, Ireland. April/May/June or September/October

Prices are lower, the weather is usually the same. Fishing and Hunting can be had, as well as a whole host of other stuff. July and August are School Holidays (do not go this time of year)

from June to the end of August would be the best you could come a few weeks later or earlier or later then this if you like to

around now spring is nice too. The baby lambs are a beautiful sight in spring

I found May better than June so far, but that might just be luck.  We were there last year at this time and it was sunny and gorgeous.

July/August is your best bet if you want good weather

And defo go to the West Coast....its beautiful there, especially Co. Clare....;)

june-october the weathers generally good....but, just so u kno, it rained 58 days str8 last summer, stopped 4 a week and then rained 4 another month!! =]

may or june as the weather is pretty good and the days are lovely and long doesnt get dark until nearly 10!
