When is a good time to go snowboarding?

I dont want anywhere busy! like it quiet. as much info as possible would be apprecciated. also any good resorts for snowboarding?

When you hear people saying that the snow is like "powder" I'd say that, that is the best time to go.

andorda is cool, there is a resort called Pal arisnal which is good for skiing and snowboarding. if u can get there, Canada is supposed to be amazing for snowboarding, a place called Banff. Iv Never been but my brother has a few times and said its really good snow. as for the busyness, as i said iv never been but the snow is quality so should be ok.

winter is always good, try january. unless you live in australia. then try summer.

depends where you are. states its mostly good in winter. but on the northwest you can go in the summer. its a little late now...timberline in oregon works for me and in the sping summer its pretty chill

Where do you live? Look at local resorts websites and check them out. Early mornings like right when they open are always the least busy.

Without a doubt go to Les Arcs ...early Jan!! It's cheap and the snow is FANTASTIC! I go there every year around the 10th Jan and every year we get the most amazing snow and great sunny weather! We go for a week, with Neilson (there's loads of other comapnied that go there...including, Ski world, Crystal...there's loads!) and stay in one of there self catered chalets...last year 6 of us went and it cost us £219 per person includes flights, transfers and accomadation! On a budget definately go self catered!

Lift pass is extra though and it does depend which pass you go for! This last season the Vanoise express was closed, which is the lift that takes you from Les Arcs to La Plagne, so we couldn't get a Paradiski pass and Les Arcs pass was the only one available...but its more than enough for a week!

You will have the most fantastic time it is an awesome area to board in! Oh and they have a great park....if you're up for that!!!!!

In the winter, when there's snow on the ground is ideal...I suppose you could try it in the summer on wet grass, I'm not sure if it would have the same effect though.
