When is a good time in the week and in the day to purchase reasonable price tickets to travel to the St.Thomas Virgin Islands?

There is no particular day in the week to get a reasonable flight to the USVI.

As soon as I know I will be traveling to the islands, I start checking websites.It really depends where you live too.I live in New York and I booked my tickets in November for $300 RT for May travel. I hit a sale on American.

Travel mid-week sometimes will be cheaper, winter rates are usually higher because of demand. After spring break, you will see spring sales, and of couse you will see sales for summer travel August, Sept and Oct because it's hurricane season.

Right now is a good time for summer vacation but if you want to hold off they usually have fare wars over the summer, BUT, with the price of fuel it's a c**p shoot.
