When is a good time to run?

OK. On weekends I wake up at 5:30 and go running, but on weekdays i have to wake up at 5:30 for school. When i get home from school its just way too hot. Should I wake up at 5 or run at night. What is a good time to run at night?

  1. THE BEST TIME TO RUN (IN THE SUMMER) IS TO START NO EARLIER THAN 7:15 AND END NO LATER THAN 8:45!!!!!!!!! THAT HOUR AND A HALF HAS THE BEST COOLEST WEATHER WITH IT NOT BEING DARK YET!!!!!!!


  2. Mornings are by far the best time to run, but there is nothing wrong with running at night.  Try running no later than 8 if you can't run at 5 in the morning.

  3. If you run to late at night you can get your adrenaline going and you might have problems falling asleep.

    Morning runs are good because

            they keep up your energy the rest of the day

            get the run out of the way

            No change in daily routing if run is early

            It is healthy to exercise in the morning

    But personally you have to try both and balance the odds.  Lastly if all your races are in the morning you should run in the morning and that is from an article I just read from runnersworld.com

  4. I'd say run at night around 7-9. The day's usually cooled down a lot by then...

    Be safe though! Watch out for cars & etc...

  6. I would run at night. Around 8-10. If its a safe neighborhood then run  around ten. The air is a lot cooler and you can run a lot farther and faster. but it depends on when you take a shower. If you take a shower after running then around 8-9. but if you take a shower in the morning around 10. but be safe because there is a bunch of weirdos out there.
