When is a good time to test for pregnancy?

okay my periods are always messed up so i never know when to expect it....i had s*x on the 26th of july....when could i test for pregnany? i took a test like almost two weeks ago and it was negative but being pregnant 3 times before i cant shake this feeling that i am...was it to soon to test?

  1. Two weeks ago would have been way too early to test. You can test now and if it still comes up negative then test again in ONE week.

    EDIT-- Sorry I misread I thought you said your LMP was on the 26th, I would go see the doctor if I were you.


  2. I would say after you missed your period but in your case i would say contact your doctor and let them test you

  3. same here i have a period due next week so i am waiting. you could try and test now it may come out but wait a week if not and see then.

  4. Due to your periods always being over the place i would go and get a test done at the doctors. I would normally say wait until you have missed a period and then test but you cant really do that.

    Get a blood test done to be sure, good luck!!

  5. Hi,

    I can't remember the actual name of the test but I know you can take it 5 days before your missed period, I think its EPT. They work really well and they actually say Pregnant or Not Pregnant. I used one last year when I found out I was pregnant

    its more accurate.


  8. it could have been to early but if ur period doesnt come within the next few days or weeks u could take another one to make sure
