Aesthetic dental work is done to enhance appearance. Some forms of typical aesthetic dental work can also be used for medical reasons, i.e. using veneers to cap teeth suffering a loss of enamel. Depending on the nature of the work, sometimes it can be covered by dental insurance, other times not.
