Not looking to get the best spot in the place, just not in the worst spot. Don't really want to be set up next to the port-a-johns.

  1. Do not get a place close to the beer tent, it stays a mess around there.  Try to get as close to the fence as you can, but it can get really crowded at times.  It is best to get to the track at opening time, if not all the good spots will be gone.  Some sections of the infield may be restricted, so ask when you get to the track, where the best viewing is for the day and they will point you in the right direction.

  2. Last week

  3. You can go in at anytime. There really is no "best spot" in the infield. You're not going to see any horses anywhere. You'll watch the races on one of the huge tv's set up in the infield. It's not quite the madhouse it appears on tv.  There's plenty of room to lay down a blanket or lawn chairs if you like. No umbrellas, so if it rains, you're pretty much screwed. It's a blast - you'll love it.

  4. Two hours prior to gates opening.
